TAKING IT ALL IN...

My son usually gets up before me most mornings. This morning was no different. When I strolled out into the sun room, I found him there - catching up on yesterday's news about the church. Man, do I wish he could talk! I'd love to get his thoughts on the article...

Dude that is soooo awesome! I can't wait to get a chance to see the lil man.

I read the article too, that was some great coverage.

Ryan, very excited to see how God is going to move in the community. Great article and exposure too - God uses all kinds of media to get his Word out. I think I can answer what the lil' man was thinking when he was looking at the article - "Wow, that's my dad - good lookin' dude!"

Hi Ryan. My mother drew my attention to your article. "Dont go to this place" is what she said. After reading the article in its entirety I was convinced that she had missed the whole point, as usual.

I am not a church going type of person but I do have what I believe to be a personal relationship with God. In light of this, I was forced (not encouraged) by my mother to start attending a Baptist church with her over 2 years ago.

I feel as though my spiritual growth, the ONE thing in my life that nobody has a right to tamper with, has been compromised and my distaste for church has steadily grown because of this.

I hope to soon be able to skip out on my usual Sunday routine for at least one day and attend your sermon. Hopefully, I will finally know what its like to leave church feeling refreshed and happy instead of condemned and guilty.

Dear Anonymous,

Thanks for your comment - I understand. Knowing what it's like to leave church refreshed and knowing what it's like to leave... the alternate way, I'd take refreshing any day of the week!

Here's to praying you find that too! Hope you can make it out to see us.
